Travel health advice and vaccinations

Are you travelling abroad? If you are travelling to developing or tropical countries, we encourage you to visit our clinic before you travel.

Travel vaccination courses

Our practice nurses can administer vaccinations specific to the geographical region you are planning to visit. It is essential that you visit us at least 6 weeks before you travel. You will be provided with a travel vaccination questionnaire before your appointment so that we can begin the course in time for the vaccine to take effect. While we stock most vaccines at our clinic in Edge Hill, we will have to place an order for those that are not stock vaccines. Give us a call today for travel health services. We are ideally located to serve patients in Edge Hill and the surrounding areas of Liverpool.

Medical advice for your travel

It is important to consider the region you are visiting and what you'll be doing during your stay. If you are travelling with an existing medical condition, at Dunstan Village Group Practice, we can carry out a full health check-up and advise you on the medications you must take and the diet you can follow.

You can also visit our clinic for children’s vaccinations and advice on family planning
